Rumusnya : A x (angka pesulap) = Hasil + A = Hasil : A = (angka tebakan pesulap)

catatan :
A : angka spectactor

Umpamakan angka menjadi huruf berikut :

1 = T , D
2 = N
3 = M
4 = R
5 = L
6 = J,G (ex : engine) ,Ch,Sh,Zh,Z
7 = K,G (ex : good),C,Q
8 = F,V
9 = P,B
0 = S,Z

Caranya,misal ada angka 34713720, pertama bagi tiap 2 angka.
jadi, 34-71-37-20, lalu bikin kata2 dari angka itu dengan cara di atas.

34=MaRi
71=KiTa
37=MaKan
20=NaSi

Nah jadi dapat kita baca MARI KITA MAKAN NASI .

Trik ini membutuhkan latihan berkali2 agar cepat menentukan kata2nya. Semoga bermanfaat !!.

Note :
Mnemonic juga termasuk salah satu magic dengan tingkat kesulitan yang tinggi. Anda harus banyak-banyak berlatih untuk dapat menguasai trik ini dengan sempurna.

A ball is repeatedly tossed from one hand to the other. On the third toss the fingers close over the ball, then open out to show the ball has become invisible leading the spectators to question its previous existence.

The working of this vanish depends on a dodge, a sleight, and to some extent an optical illusion. On first attempting it the performer may consider it impossible to perform but on spending some time on the handling will discover that it is fairly straight forward and easily accomplished.

Props

A manipulation ball 1-3/4 inch / 44.5 mm in diameter. This is the commonly used ball for Multiplying Billiard Ball routines.

Sequence

Left above: the ball is held at the right hand finger tips.
Right above: the left hand is open, fingers together and curled slightly, downstage, facing the spectators.

The right hand tosses the ball into the left hand, the ball caught so it rests on the curled fingers of the left hand.

Left above: the left hand holds the ball.

Right above: after the ball is tossed into the left hand, the right hand moves stage left to the back of the right hand momentarily blocks the view of the ball in the left hand. The left fingers then toss the ball back into the right hand, the left fingers curl down as if holding the ball, the right hand moves stage right and away from the left hand.

Left above: the upstage view of the right hand holding the ball in a classic palm.
Right above: the ball is apparently held in the closed left hand.

Left above: in tossing the ball back into the right hand, the ball must be caught in a classic palm.
Right above: downstage audience view of the left hand opening out to show the ball has disappeared.

Handling

On each of the moves the performer’s eyes and head turn to follow the location of the ball.

1.

Facing downstage the performer is seen to be holding a ball in his right hand at the tips his thumb and first and second fingers. The right arm is bent so that the ball is at shoulder height.

He Looks at the ball and turning the right hand back, then palm, then back to the spectators.

He then raises his left hand to just below shoulder height, the palm of the empty hand downstage. The performer turns his head to look at the left hand.

He then tosses the ball into the left hand. The left hand catches the ball, the ball resting on and held by the slightly curled left fingers.

In tossing the ball from right to left hand, the right arm extends left across the body until the ball / right finger tips are about 4 inches / 10 cm stage right of the left hand at which point the ball is released by the right fingers and caught by the left fingers.

The right hand moves to the left hand, takes hold of the ball, then the right hand returns to its previous position, held by the thumb and finger tips at the height of the right shoulder.

2.

The performer looks at the ball in the right hand, then again tosses the ball into the left hand. The ball is again caught by the left fingers, then pushed up to the left finger tips, the left palm downstage.

Again in tossing the ball from right to left hand, the right arm extends left across the body until the ball / right finger tips are about 4 inches / 10 cm stage right of the left hand at which point the ball is released by the right fingers and caught by the left fingers.

The right hand again moves to the left hand, takes hold of the ball and returns to the right, the ball held at the right finger tips, the right hand at the height of the right shoulder.

3.

The right hand tosses the ball into the left hand for a third time. Again it is caught by the curled left fingers.

In tossing the ball from right to left hand for the third time, the right arm extends left across the body until the ball / right finger tips are just downstage right of the left hand at which point the ball is released by the right fingers and caught by the left fingers. The position of the right hand on this toss is such that the back of the right hand momentarily blocks the view of the left hand holding the ball in the curled left fingers.

The curled fingers of the left hand toss the ball back into the right palm. The right hand contracts to catch and hold the ball in classic palm position. The left fingers immediately curl into the left palm as if holding the ball as the right hand moves stage right until it is in front of the right chest area where it stops.

The performer is now standing, head turned left, left arm extended, left fingers apparently closed around the ball, left fingers and palm downstage.

The fingers of the left hand open out and straighten to show the hand empty. The ball has vanished.

Handling Notes

On first try it may seem impossible to toss a ball so that it is caught and held in a classic palm without any assistance by the fingers or thumb. Keep trying and you’ll soon get it as well as realizing that thinking about it doesn’t help.

The left fingers must close over the non-existent ball as soon as they send the ball off to the right hand. This also must be done without thinking.

Once the left hand tosses the ball back to the right hand and the left fingers close over the non-existent ball, the left hand moves up above shoulder height, the curled in fingers side downstage. The head and eyes follow the closed left hand.

Displaying a sponge ball in his right hand, the magician places it into his left hand. The left hand is closed around the ball. When the left hand is opened, the ball is seen to have disappeared.

There are numerous methods of accomplishing this effect, most borrowed from sleights originally intended for use with coins or other small solid objects. While many of these sleights are effective, they don’t take advantage of the compressible nature of the sponge ball.

The sleight described here allows the performer to shift the position of the ball after the initial supposed placement of the ball into the left hand. This leaves the right hand in a more relaxed state and thus less hot when the spectators decide to try to put two and two together.

Handling

The ball is displayed in the right hand, held at the tips of the thumb and first finger.

As the right hand turns over to place the ball into the open left hand, the right third finger goes under the ball and then pushes up.

The right third finger catches some of ball and presses against the second finger.

The right first finger and thumb are pulled out of the left hand as the left fingers close. The ball has already been swung back into the right palm by the right second and third fingers.

The right third finger moves the ball up toward the thumb.

The thumb catches some of the surface of the ball and presses against the base of the first finger to hold the ball in thumb palm position.

Phase One

The first sleight is a variation of the pinch vanish originally described by Audley Walsh in his pioneering manuscript “Sponge Ball Manipulation.”

Pick the ball up with the thumb and index finger of the right hand. The ball of the thumb is behind the sponge ball (closest to you) the ball of the index finger is in front of the ball.

Raise your right arm to bring the hand and ball up closer to your face. As the arm is raised, the right hand turns at the wrist so the palm is up. At the same time the second finger comes up so that the ball of the second finger rests on the ball next to the index finger.

The left hand is raised above waist level, the hand palm up, the fingers extended in a relaxed manner.

The right hand rotates over toward the left palm. As the back of the right hand obscures the ball and right palm from view, the third and fourth fingers rise up until the third finger hits the side of the ball. At this point the right index finger and thumb straighten slightly and the ball is lightly pinched between the sides of the right second and third fingers. These fingers curl into the palm, taking the ball with them.

The left fingers touch each other and turn up to mask the left palm from view as the right hand reaches the left hand. The right index finger should be sticking almost straight out of the right hand at this point and should land directly on the left palm, the tip of the right index finger touching the left palm.

The left fingers continue to close over the left palm as if closing around the ball. The left hand moves gently up and to the left, the right hand moves back and to the right.

Look at the left hand.

Phase Two

If the pinch was executed properly, the right third finger should now be pressing on a bit of the sponge ball so that it is holding that portion of the ball against the right palm. Raise the right second finger slightly so that it is no longer involved in the process.

With the tip of the right third finger push up against the ball. This will start to roll the ball on the palm toward the base of the right thumb. Extend the right thumb away from the hand and down. Rotate the right hand a bit toward the body. The ball will now be in thumb palm position. Close the right thumb against the side of the right index finger and the ball is now thumb palmed.

All of the work just described as the left hand is rising up, apparently holding the ball. You must be looking at the left hand.

Once the ball is in thumb palm position in the right hand, relax the fingers of the right hand, but do not extend them fully. Just let them arch slightly with the fingers apart.

Showing the hand empty front and back while keeping a playing card or coin from view is usually accomplished by holding the object’s top and bottom edges between the first and fourth finger tips while the second and third fingers shift downstage or upstage of the coin or card blocking it from view.

Other palms such as the finger palm, classic palm, and thumb palm hide objects in a fixed location after they vanish or before they are produced.

Using the thumb palm to manipulate a coin so that the front and back of the hand are displayed with the fingers spread apart is possible although acquiring the knack of doing so requires practice and patience.

Handling

A coin of a large diameter from about 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches / 3 cm to 3.8 cm such as a US half dollar or Silver dollar is best for learning the sleight. A smaller diameter coin can be used with more practice.

The coin is displayed held by the thumb and first and second fingers. The coin hold is then shifted so the coin is held between the first and second fingers.

The arm makes an up and away tossing motion and simultaneously the first and second fingers curl in towards the palm, the coin going above the thumb until the coin extends upstage so it can be clipped by its downstage edge between the thumb and the base of the first finger.

The palm of the hand is downstage, the coin seeming to have disappeared.

The hand is then turned so the palm of the hand is upstage to show the back of the hand.

In doing this the first finger moves over the top of the thumb, the tip of the first finger curls under the coin pressing the coin against the base of the first finger. The thumb then moves up and presses the upstage edge of the coin against the base of the first finger, the first finger releases its hold on the coin.

Performance Notes

A sleight of this type should not be used for hand waving or a look my hands are empty attitude. Instead it can be used as a gesture used in a seemingly relaxed manner.
